About the role#
MPR Associates hires junior or senior students for paid, full-time co-op engineering positions. You will work across multiple project disciplines in fields like electric power, federal services, and health and life sciences. What you'll do#
- Perform thermal hydraulic, structural, and electrical analysis.
- Support capital project management, planning, and development.
- Engage in product development and asset management tasks.
- Contribute to process control systems, communications, and system architecture.
- Work with project teams to deliver technical insights and high-quality results.
What you'll need#
- A strong desire to pursue a technical career path.
- Advanced computer skills, including familiarity with programming languages like C++ or Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively on engineering teams.
- Current enrollment in a relevant major such as Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Civil Engineering, as well as Mathematics, Nursing, or Business Administration.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position available in Alexandria, VA, East Lyme, CT, Burlington, MA, or Salt Lake City, UT.
- The role is offered on a rolling basis for spring, summer, and fall semesters.
- Compensation ranges from $1,000 to $1,450 per week, depending on education and skills.
- A housing stipend is available for those who incur housing costs during the term.
- Paid holidays are included.
