About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience in creative asset production and marketing project collaboration. You will work within the marketing department to support our programming and social media presence while gaining insight into how we distribute and promote independent and international film. This role is based in New York City and requires a commitment of 2 to 3 days per week, from 10am to 6pm, between September and December 2026.
What you'll do#
- Cut branded film clips and trailers for social media promotion.
- Support the social team with asset creation, community interaction, trend research, and reporting.
- Develop ideas and strategies for content marketing initiatives.
- Assist at key events and screenings in New York City.
- Research and report on competitive industry trends.
- Handle day-to-day tasks such as organizing marketing materials, exporting creative deliverables, and shipping merchandise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at a US-based college or university.
- Proficiency in video editing using Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Access to a personal computer to run relevant software.
- Strong writing ability and a solid grasp of social media and digital trends.
- Interest in independent and international film.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal teams.

- Location: New York City, New York (Hybrid).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September through December).
- Compensation: Monthly stipend of $600.
