About the role#
This is a PRN position for a Student Radiologic Technologist. You will work under the direct supervision of licensed technologists to support diagnostic imaging services. You will report to the Radiology Director or Assistant Director while following hospital policies and departmental procedures.
What you'll do#
- Operate radiological equipment to help detect disease and injury.
- Work alongside licensed technologists who are physically present in the department.
- Support diagnostic imaging tasks while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Note that this role does not include performing fluoroscopy or bedside radiography.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a second-year student in an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.
- You have completed at least one year of clinicals and classroom education in your program.
- You hold a Temporary Student Radiography License in the state of Kentucky.
- You maintain current CPR certification.
- You are comfortable with screening requirements including a drug screen, tuberculosis test, background check, physical exam, and respirator fit test.
