About the role#
We are looking for a Transportation & Infrastructure Sales Intern to join our team in Oskaloosa. This role supports the growth of our sales department by finding new business opportunities and connecting potential customers with the right representatives. You will help strengthen our market presence through various sales initiatives and events.
What you'll do#
- Identify and research new business opportunities.
- Generate and qualify sales leads.
- Handle initial inside sales inquiries.
- Conduct field market research to examine potential sales for new products and services.
- Qualify long-range projects in the planning stage using remote and in-person communication.
- Plan and attend tradeshows and conferences.
- Support the internal team with ongoing initiatives.
- Collect market information, including contact details for potential customers.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or junior standing.
- Enrollment in a business degree program or a sales certificate program.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
