About the role#
Myers Industries is hiring a Project Engineer for a four month co-op term. This position runs from September to December 2026. You will work full-time hours on-site in Scarborough, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Assist the engineering team with ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Support the quality team by testing products, collecting data, and writing test reports.
- Investigate quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
- Help with engineering trials, product evaluations, and process improvements.
- Create and update CAD drawings, design files, and engineering documentation.
- Manage engineering records, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Contribute to automation and equipment improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or intermediate student currently studying Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in an office environment.
- You are self-motivated.
- Previous co-op experience is an asset.

- Compensation: Paid, full-time position ($26.45 to $28.00 per hour).
