About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Co-op Student to join our team for a 16-month work term starting in May 2027. This position provides support and administration for Talent Acquisition while working with various areas of the Human Resources department. You will manage multiple priorities and contribute to projects within a high-performance environment.
What you'll do#
- Manage the administration of the student program, including full-cycle recruitment for summer and co-op students.
- Partner with hiring leaders to coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and prepare offer letters.
- Support talent acquisition by posting new positions, reviewing resumes, and facilitating phone screens.
- Draft employment agreements and assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
- Work with HR Business Partners on projects involving data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Represent the company at career fairs, organize events, and prepare presentations.
- Maintain employee records using SharePoint and SAP.
- Assist the HR Coordinator and handle special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the third year of a Bachelor's degree majoring in Human Resources.
- Participation in a co-op program.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Experience with HRIS systems like SAP Success Factors is an asset.
