About the role#
ARC Resources Ltd. is hiring an Information Systems Summer Student to join the Information Technology team. This is a paid, full-time position based in Calgary for the summer of 2027. You will report to the Supervisor of Information Systems and work as a supporting member of the team to build software and improve business processes.
What you'll do#
- Work with Senior Developers to implement business solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation.
- Build and implement solutions using the Microsoft suite.
- Develop high-quality software as part of a team.
- Gain proficiency in Azure Cloud Services.
- Learn about the automation of the software development process.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the second or third year of a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related field, with plans to return to school the following term.
- Experience developing software or applications through school or work.
- Understanding of project management principles and the development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of PowerShell for automating SharePoint administration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organization skills.
- Familiarity with Power Platform.Net, and AI is an asset.
- Experience developing Copilot agents via Azure AI Services or Copilot Studio is an asset.
