About the role#
Nation's Best Holdings, LLC is hiring a Staff Accountant to join our support center. You will handle general accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement review. This position requires someone who can work independently and support our team across multiple locations.
What you'll do#
- Track cash transactions and execute intercompany exchanges by location.
- Reconcile cash and general ledger accounts to subsidiary ledgers.
- Monitor daily cash deposits and check sales against system reports.
- Assist with bank fraud protection functions.
- Manage fixed asset tracking, including leases, titles, and depreciation calculations.
- Maintain corporate records and permits.
- Handle sales and property tax reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and accruals during the month-end close process.
- Answer financial inquiries from across the organization.
- Complete ad hoc projects for the accounting team.
What you'll need#
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Familiarity with standard accounting concepts and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems on your own.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with retail accounting, multi-location operations, or Epicor ERP is a plus.
