About the role#
NHC HealthCare Mauldin offers a training course for individuals looking to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. This is a paid, full-time opportunity that includes state testing upon successful completion. Participants must agree to work for the company for one year following the program.
What you'll do#
- Attend all classes for the duration of the three-week program.
- Complete clinical rotations.
- Pass the state certification exam.
- Maintain perfect attendance throughout the course.
What you'll need#
- A completed application.
- Valid photo identification.
- A Social Security card.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a review of the abuse registry for children and adults.
- Ability to complete a two-step TB test.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenville, South Carolina.
- Schedule: Classes run Monday through Friday. Weeks one and two are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and week three clinicals are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Selection criteria: Candidates are chosen based on facility needs, shift availability, class performance, work history, and flexibility.
