About the role#
NHC HealthCare Columbia offers a state certified nurse aide training program. This is a 10 day course designed to prepare students for work in health care. Successful completion of the course may lead to employment opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Attend every class session without absence or tardiness.
- Follow the full course curriculum.
- Participate in clinical training.
- Complete a background check and abuse registry screening.
What you'll need#
- Completed application, valid photo identification, and a Social Security card at the time of your interview.
- Ability to maintain a grade average of 85 or higher.
- Purchase of one set of scrubs to wear for class and clinical work.
- A $40 deposit for books and supplies, which is returned upon graduation.
- Eligibility for admission, which excludes individuals with certain felony or misdemeanor convictions or those listed on an abuse registry.
