    About the role#

    This internship provides hands-on experience with our school-based team in Columbus. You will work directly with youth in school settings while gaining exposure to various therapeutic areas across the agency. This is a paid position for students currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide support to youth in school, office, and community settings.
    • Assist with case management tasks.
    • Learn to conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans.
    • Observe therapeutic interventions and engage with youth directly.
    • Coordinate with caregivers, parents, foster parents, school staff, and other mental health professionals.
    • Manage required documentation and paperwork.
    • Travel daily to provide services to families and youth.
    • Observe additional therapeutic areas within the agency.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Masters of Social Work or Masters of Clinical Counseling program at an accredited college or university.
    • A requirement for an internship or field placement from your institution.
    • Proficiency with computers, tablets, smartphones, and office equipment like printers and fax machines.
    • Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
    • A valid driver license, a good driving record, and reliable personal transportation.
    • Automobile insurance with at least $100,000/$300,000 in bodily injury liability coverage.
