About the role#
This 12-week summer internship program allows students to gain experience in finance and accounting. You will work on impactful projects while receiving targeted training, mentoring, and guidance from management. This role is designed to help you develop business knowledge, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
What you'll do#
- Analyze business portfolio performance using data manipulation and visualization techniques.
- Support forecast model improvements by analyzing key business trends.
- Develop financial forecasts and analyze performance metrics to provide insights on risk, regulatory environments, and technology modernization.
- Consolidate business segment performance and financial reporting.
- Support your assigned department by working on projects or specific portions of larger initiatives.
- Evaluate the operational performance of existing controls and create remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel.
- Experience with research, analysis, and data manipulation.
- Strong communication and presentation-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Coursework in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is helpful but not required.

- Locations: Vienna, Virginia or Pensacola, Florida.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
