About the role#
This is a casual or PRN position based at Methodist Fremont Hospital. You will work on an as-needed basis to support business operations, with shifts that vary from week to week. Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.
What you'll do#
- Perform limited diagnostic radiographic procedures within the scope of your license, excluding CT, fluoroscopy, mammography, and the administration of contrast media.
- Provide safe, age-specific patient care.
- Educate patients and address customer concerns.
- Document patient x-ray records and manage Quality Control processes.
- Contribute to positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at the senior level in a Radiologic Technology degree program.
- A Temporary Medical Radiographer (RAD.TEMP) or Limited Radiologic Technologist (RAD.LIM) license for the state of Nebraska.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred at hire and required within three months of starting.
- Ability to perform medium work, including lifting or exerting up to 50 pounds of force.
