About the role#
As an IT Intern at Nemacolin, you will gain hands-on experience in a luxury resort environment. You will work alongside IT professionals to support daily operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and complete an experiential project. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Act as a first point of contact for resort guests, management, and associates experiencing technical challenges.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity issues, including support for Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365.
- Provide technical assistance over the phone and document all work orders.
- Coordinate with technicians when issues require additional expertise.
- Install and remove telephone and data cabling.
- Manage user accounts by creating, modifying, and disabling access across systems.
- Complete a project focused on an internship-specific learning objective.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a second or third-year student in an accredited collegiate program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- At least one year of experience with LAN/WAN technologies.
- High school diploma.
- Commitment to a consecutive 12-week internship.
- Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
