About the role#
Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases is hiring an Engineering Intern I to work at our Santa Ana facility. This role focuses on supporting our manufacturing and production teams through process documentation, design, and improvement projects. You will work directly with operators and engineers to refine our workflows.
What you'll do#
- Write pictorial work instructions for assemblies and processes.
- Create and revise Bills of Operations (BOO).
- Design simple tooling and fixtures.
- Create rework travelers for parts that do not meet specifications.
- Use Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve production processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve facility layout, material flow, and general workflow.
What you'll need#
- You are a current student or recent graduate in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Familiarity with mechanical design and manufacturing engineering principles.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- High attention to detail.
