About the role#
We are looking for an intern to join our Optical Design Verification Testing (ODVT) team. You will contribute to the validation of optical transmission technologies and ensure the performance of our next-generation products.
What you'll do#
- Execute Optical Design Verification Test (ODVT) scripts with precision.
- Process, analyze, and interpret test data to identify and resolve design issues.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of ODVT test stations.
- Document test procedures, results, and observations.
- Provide reports on test status, findings, and progress.
What you'll need#
- Currently a candidate for a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Matlab, or VB.
- Familiarity with electrical and optical test equipment.
- Basic understanding of fiber optical communication systems and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
- Experience with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket is a plus.

- Duration: 6 to 12 months.
