About the role#
Nordson Corporation is hiring an Internal Audit Intern for the summer of 2027. This position offers exposure to audit processes and internal controls while helping you build business acumen. You will work with a team that identifies and addresses key organizational risks.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit procedures to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.
- Assist with operational and risk-based audit reviews.
- Prepare working papers, including flowcharts and narratives, following Internal Audit Standards.
- Support the creation of new audit tools using business analytics, artificial intelligence, and visualization software.
- Assist in the preparation of formal, written reports.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analytics. Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A detail-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively to meet deadlines.
