About the role#
NorthPoint Development offers an internship program for students to gain exposure to real estate and development. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Downers Grove, Illinois. The term is rolling and lasts 8 to 10 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project due diligence tasks like market research and preliminary budgeting.
- Track development schedules and update timelines for key milestones.
- Coordinate and gather bids for pre-construction activities.
- Support permit applications and organize documentation for approvals.
- Contribute to project reporting.
- Participate in team meetings.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- You are energetic, resourceful, and eager to learn.
- Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively.
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
