About the role#
Novo Holdings is looking for an MBA Intern to support the Planetary Health Investments team in San Francisco. This role focuses on identifying and evaluating investments that address environmental challenges across food, agriculture, urbanization, materials, and energy. You will work alongside an international team to manage assets and support the growth of companies that contribute to a sustainable economy.
What you'll do#
- Map out market spaces and identify unmet needs within our priority sectors.
- Perform financial analysis to evaluate new deal opportunities and strategic initiatives for current portfolio companies.
- Assist with due diligence processes for potential investments.
- Draft internal memoranda and investment materials.
- Help manage team CRM systems and vendor platforms.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program or recent graduation.
- Strong academic performance and an interest in a career in financial services.
- A genuine interest in sustainability, climate innovation, or planetary health.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A self-starting mindset with a high level of integrity and accountability.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Term: Fall 2026 and Winter 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid work, with an expectation to be on-site at least once per week.
- Commitment: 10 to 25 hours per week.
- Compensation: $26 per hour.
- Additional: Lunch is provided in the office, and commute-related expenses are covered up to $400 per month.
