About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a Summer 2027 internship for students interested in mortgage finance. You will gain hands-on experience in the mortgage process for our homebuilding customers. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Frederick, Maryland.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the mortgage process, from the initial application to the settlement date.
- Assist with processing, obtaining mortgage approvals, and conducting closings.
- Learn about the homebuilding industry and the regulatory environment that governs mortgage lending.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to see how home delivery is managed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, and Accounting are encouraged to apply.
- A strong drive, self-motivation, and evidence of leadership experience.
- Clear communication skills.
- A current driver's license.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.
