About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a summer internship program focused on the mortgage operations that support our homebuilding business. You will work directly with mortgage professionals to assist customers who purchase homes from Ryan Homes, NVHomes, or Heartland Homes. This position provides hands-on experience in the mortgage process, from the initial application through the final settlement.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the mortgage process starting from their initial application.
- Assist in processing mortgage approvals and conducting closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn how homebuilding management works.
- Learn about the regulatory requirements that govern the mortgage industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students studying Business Administration, Finance, or Economics are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills.
- A self-motivated approach and demonstrated leadership experience.
- A current driver’s license.
