About the role#
This internship is a summer 2027 opportunity based in Kansas City, Missouri. You will join our Data Center On-Site Services team to gain hands-on experience with commissioning processes for mission-critical clients, including large technology companies. This is a full-time, paid position that requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Perform on-site commissioning processes for mission-critical clients.
- Assist with testing and verifying installed electrical equipment, such as generators, switchgear, uninterruptible power supplies, and power distribution units.
- Conduct pre-functional and functional testing.
- Troubleshoot issues that occur during the testing phase.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an electrical engineering degree program.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving history.
