About the role#
As a survey intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working on real-world projects alongside our experienced surveyors. This role focuses on fieldwork, helping you connect your classroom learning to professional practice. You will work in various terrain and weather conditions while traveling to job sites at different stages of construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the performance of fieldwork.
- Conduct topographic and boundary surveys.
- Perform ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Carry out construction staking.
- Travel to job sites at different stages of construction.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in land surveying, construction management, civil engineering technology, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving history.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
