About the role#
Osmosis.org from Elsevier is hiring Evaluator Subject Matter Experts to review AI-generated content. This role supports medical students during their pre-clinical years and USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX preparation. You will work on a contract basis through a third-party agency.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate AI-generated responses on basic science topics.
- Rate content based on accuracy, completeness, relevance, and educational utility.
- Provide feedback to ensure materials meet the needs of first and second-year medical students.
- Complete asynchronous evaluations within deadlines ranging from 5 days to 2 weeks.
- Participate in quarterly evaluation cycles and occasional ad-hoc assessments.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current PGY-1 resident in a US medical residency program (MD or DO) or a fourth-year medical student from an ACGME-accredited school who has passed USMLE Steps 1 and 2.
- Prior experience in medical education content review is preferred.
- You should have a strong understanding of medical education pedagogy and learning outcomes.
- You can commit 5-15 hours per week during active evaluation periods.
Location & details#
- This is a remote position based in the United States.
- The role runs from November 2025 through December 2026, with the possibility of extension.
- Compensation is $60 per hour.
- The role requires a minimum of 4 evaluation cycles per year.
