About the role#
This internship provides experience in the video production workflow for Pacers Sports & Entertainment. You will support social media content for the Pacers, Fever, Boom, and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The term runs from September through December 2026, requiring about 20 to 25 hours per week. This is a paid, on-site role in Indianapolis.
What you'll do#
- Cover Pacers, Fever, and Boom games, including nights and weekends.
- Shoot and edit video interviews and game highlights.
- Edit photo and video content for social channels.
- Assist with creative video ideation.
- Transcribe player and coach sound quotes for web and video.
- Help cover practice and postgame media availabilities.
- Manage and organize the video file library.
- Log and tag assets within the media management platform.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Strong video editing skills.
- Familiarity with Adobe Cloud applications.
- Ability to maintain professional, journalistic relationships with players and coaches.
- Capability to work with others to solve problems and meet deadlines with accuracy and professionalism.
