About the role#
As a Product Design intern for our US Government team, you will work on product teams with minimal supervision. You will own the end-to-end execution of real features while receiving mentorship and support. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to build data-driven software.
What you'll do#
- Define early product concepts and create high-level workflows.
- Execute visual design and micro-interactions for complex analytical tasks.
- Conduct informal user research to inform design outcomes.
- Pair qualitative research, such as usability tests, with quantitative usage metrics.
- Collaborate with engineers to prototype and build products.
What you'll need#
- You must be planning to graduate in 2028.
- A portfolio that includes at least one software interface design project.
- Active US Security clearance or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript is helpful.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Palo Alto, California.
- The position is full-time and paid at a rate of $8,500 per month.
