About the role#
Software engineers at Palantir build software at scale to change how organizations use data. As an intern, you will contribute high-quality code directly to our products. You will work on features used by research scientists, engineers, and analysts in countries around the world. You will be paired with a mentor throughout your internship to support your growth.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship code directly to Palantir products.
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from idea generation and design to execution.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers.
- Meet users to understand their specific needs and build products that solve their problems.
- Work in small teams focused on specific product aspects, such as front-end applications or release infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- An engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with technical tools including data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Must be planning to graduate in 2028.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US Security clearance.
