About the role#
Bracco is hiring Software Engineering Interns to join our team in Eden Prairie. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real products, contributing to software that supports medical technology. We offer positions within our Injector device team or our Digital Health team. You will be matched with a project based on your skills and interests. This is a full-time, paid internship available for Winter or Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Write production code and build new features.
- Solve bugs and debug complex systems.
- Create automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Improve user experiences and develop internal tools.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including design, documentation, and code reviews.
- Learn how to develop software in a regulated industry where reliability and cybersecurity are critical.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with object-oriented programming in C#, Java, or C++.
- Basic experience with Python.
- Familiarity with Git for source control.
- Basic debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to solve new problems.
- Exposure to GUI development, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, or SDLC is a plus.
- Experience with personal, class, hackathon, or open-source projects.
- Strong communication skills and experience with technical writing or presentations.

- Employment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
