About the role#
As a Software Engineer intern at Palantir, you will contribute code to products such as Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo. You will join a small team focusing on a specific aspect of a product, ranging from front-end applications to core release infrastructure. You will work alongside a mentor and collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds to solve technical problems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical counterparts to understand customer needs.
- Manage projects through the full product lifecycle, including design, prototyping, execution, and shipping.
- Work with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, and Product Reliability Engineers.
- Take ownership of tasks and see projects through to completion despite obstacles.
- Learn about various aspects of our products through cross-team communication.
What you'll need#
- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Data Science.
- Experience coding in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks.
- Must be planning to graduate in 2028.
- Active US Security clearance, or the eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
