About the role#
PhaseV is a clinical AI company using causal machine learning and Bayesian adaptive design to improve clinical trials. As a Strategy and Market Intelligence Intern, you will work at the intersection of technology and life sciences. You will build a view of the competitive market and help shape how PhaseV positions its platform. This is a 3-month internship that provides ownership over research frameworks and the development of intelligence tools.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate the competitive landscape and create a framework for ongoing intelligence.
- Translate market intelligence into clear, executive-ready insights using business frameworks.
- Partner with the Marketing, Business Development, and Product teams to ensure insights are included in pitch decks and positioning.
- Track trends in the pharma and CRO sectors, including regulatory signals from the FDA and EMA.
- Define and conceptualize an AI-powered agent or workflow to monitor competitors and surface updates automatically.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in life sciences, business, data science, public health, or a related field.
- A genuine interest in pharma, biotech, health tech, or clinical research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with AI tools, strategy, or market research is helpful but not required.
