About the role#
Join the Manufacturing Strategy and Operations team at Gilead Sciences. This internship supports our mission to enable Global Manufacturing to function as one cohesive unit. You will gain experience at an innovative organization while contributing to meaningful projects. The program includes professional development, leadership presentations, and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Improve processes for site strategy, governance deployment, and project management.
- Establish a shared vision and build alignment across teams.
- Deliver significant improvements throughout your time with the team.
- Present your work to the team at the conclusion of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 at the start of the internship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated interest in manufacturing and familiarity with Operational Excellence tools.
- Preferred degrees include an MBA or MS in Business or Engineering.
