About the role#
As an Alternatives Investment Operations Intern, you will support the operations of the alternatives business across various funds and accounts. You will work with internal partners such as Portfolio Management, Legal, Compliance, and Finance, as well as external service providers, to ensure the settlement and management of debt and private equity assets. This role involves contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the efficiency of the alternatives platform.
What you'll do#
- Support trade execution, settlement, and lifecycle events for alternatives transactions including debt, private equity, and real estate.
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and validation of alternative investment assets, legal entities, and related reference data.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve operational issues and ensure timely execution.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency, strengthen controls, and reduce risk.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester.
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
- Business proficiency in English.
