About the role#
This is a non-paid student internship for individuals pursuing a career as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. You will gain practical experience in a clinical setting while completing your studies.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student in an applicable field of nursing.
- Provide a current resume.
- Provide a letter of good standing from your educational institution.
- Complete required health screenings and immunizations, including TB, Hepatitis B, Tdap, MMR, and Varicella, before the internship begins.
- Maintain up-to-date influenza vaccinations as required by CDC and NMDOH guidelines.
- If assigned to the Checkerboard Area Health System, you must successfully complete a criminal records check.
