About the role#
We are hiring fundraisers in Los Angeles to represent nonprofit organizations focused on humanitarian, environmental, and social justice campaigns. This role provides a stable hourly income and supports meaningful causes. We offer paid training from your first day and provide opportunities for leadership growth based on performance.
What you'll do#
- Represent major nonprofit organizations through face-to-face outreach.
- Speak with members of the public in community spaces and neighborhoods about current campaigns.
- Invite people to become monthly supporters of these organizations.
- Work as part of an energetic team in an active, outdoor environment.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort speaking with new people throughout the day.
- A positive attitude and reliability.
- An interest in nonprofit or advocacy work.
- The ability to work outdoors and on your feet.
- While not required, experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, advocacy, volunteering, or performance is helpful.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Pay: $20 per hour guaranteed (not commission-based).
- Schedule: Full-time positions are available with flexible scheduling to accommodate other commitments.
- Benefits: Paid time off and an Employee Assistance Program are available after three months for full-time employees.
