About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work within teams to provide objective assessments and help clients maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. This role provides exposure to audit methodologies and financial reporting processes.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Participate in the review and verification of financial documents.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial data.
- Document audit processes and findings.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls.
- Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS standards.
- Collaborate with team members to assess risk factors and monitor financial trends.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically, you should be in your third year of a four-year degree program or your fourth year of a five-year program.
