About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join the Assurance practice in San Diego for the Summer 2028 term. You will work alongside audit teams to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits and client support. This role focuses on learning professional methodologies while contributing to the quality and transparency of financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Document audit processes and findings for project records.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Status as a third-year student in a four-year program or fourth-year student in a five-year program.
- Eligibility to meet educational requirements for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
