About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within our tax practice to support teams in delivering tax services. You will focus on learning our methodologies, participating in projects, and performing tasks that contribute to team success. This role offers exposure to the complexities of tax consulting while you develop your professional skills in a team environment.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax regulations to optimize positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0, with a preference for 3.5.
- Ability to meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in your state of employment before starting full-time.
- Experience or interest in AI, data analytics, international tax, and multistate compliance.
- Intellectual curiosity regarding tax research and planning.
