About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with our tax consulting teams to gain experience in the global tax field. You will support the delivery of tax services, help with project tasks, and learn PwC methodologies. This role focuses on building your professional skills and understanding how we provide advice and planning strategies to our clients.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Assist in the analysis of complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects and provide solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
