About the role#
This internship focuses on the life-cycle of data center project execution. You will assist with planning, design layouts, and the installation and testing of mechanical and electrical equipment. This includes systems like chillers, generators, UPS units, and switchgear. This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 position based on-site in Irving, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Create, analyze, and follow up on RFPs.
- Organize and maintain notes for project management meetings.
- Track project budgets and report on your findings.
- Assist project leads and managers during site walk investigations and vendor meetings.
- Perform safety evaluations and recommend improvements.
- Report on project milestones and meeting minutes.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for budgeting and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be a US citizen.
