About the role#
The Quality Engineer Intern will provide technical support for quality projects throughout the summer of 2027. You will assist the engineering department with project tasks from initial scope definition through final implementation. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Bloomington, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to internal customers.
- Assist with part manufacturability technical support.
- Implement process and design improvements.
- Support and comply with company Quality Systems, ISO standards, and medical device requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work procedures.
- Collaborate across business segments including sales, marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program for Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in using measuring devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
