About the role#
This is a paid Engineering Co-Op position based in Bloomington, Minnesota. The role runs from late May 2027 through December 2027. You will work under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager to support projects from initial scope definition through final implementation. This role is a full-time, on-site opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Provide technical support to internal customers.
- Assist with part manufacturability and the implementation of process and design improvements.
- Partner with teams across sales, marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree program for Packaging, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with CAD and design software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with ERP and other business-related systems.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and experience with simple electro-mechanical systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
