About the role#
Quality Electrodynamics (QED) is hiring an Electronics Manufacturing Intern to perform various mechanical and electronic assembly tasks. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role based in Mayfield Village, Ohio. The position operates on a rolling basis, with schedules that can adjust to fit your school or co-op requirements.
What you'll do#
- Assemble products by following documented procedures and standards.
- Follow all safety and ESD guidelines, including the use of required personal protective gear.
- Remove support material and sand DDM printed parts based on training and work instructions.
- Operate hand and power tools as needed.
- Keep the warehouse area clean and organized.
- Identify potential issues and suggest improvements to current processes.
- Work with your team to maintain a cooperative environment.
What you'll need#
- You are currently on a path to achieving a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills.
- The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Legible handwriting for completing production records.
- The ability to use hand tools and equipment after receiving training.
- The ability to complete tasks correctly and on time.
- Familiarity with working safely in a plant environment is preferred.
