About the role#
As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will join the Airborne RF Electronics Department to support a production program. You will work within an Integrated Product Team in McKinney or Plano, Texas, to help solve hardware and process challenges.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to the circuit card assembly and component levels.
- Diagnose test sets at the component level, including analog, digital, radio, and microwave frequency circuitry.
- Analyze product test data using MATLAB tools to ensure all specifications are met.
- Generate and update technical documentation, drawings, designs, and specifications.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

- This is a full-time, paid Summer 2027 internship.
- The role is strictly on-site in McKinney or Plano, Texas.
