About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027. You will work on-site at our Mississauga facility from Monday to Friday.
What you'll do#
- Develop and run test cases to validate GPU-based Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) solvers for compressor aerodynamics.
- Analyze simulation results and propose improvements to current methods.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Document your processes, findings, and results to help establish best practice guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and engage in technical discussions with other engineers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Understanding of fluid dynamics and turbomachinery.
- Experience with High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, including cluster environments and parallel processing.
- Knowledge of Linux OS.
- Familiarity with CFD solvers like ANSYS CFX or Fluent, including setup, simulation, and post-processing.
- Ability to work on-site in Mississauga.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and any applicable clearances for handling controlled goods.
