    About the role#

    This Electrical Firmware co-op position focuses on ASIC and FPGA development within the aviation and aerospace component manufacturing industry. You will contribute to the design and verification of hardware for video, networking, and image processing devices. This role requires U.S. citizenship to access program information.

    What you'll do#

    • Develop products in accordance with DO-254 DAL A certification standards.
    • Participate in certification activities and manage requirements capture, decomposition, and traceability.
    • Perform digital design and verification for ASIC and FPGA hardware.
    • Write RTL code and conduct simulations using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
    • Execute verification tasks using inspection, analysis, simulation, and test methods.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
    • Active enrollment through the duration of the internship or co-op session.
    • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and languages such as C/C++, Python, or Perl.
    • Experience writing RTL or testbenches using VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
    • Practical knowledge of FPGA simulation and vendor tools like Questasim, Vivado, or Libero.
    • Understanding of chip-level verification techniques, UVM or similar constrained random methodologies, and revision control tools.
