About the role#
This internship is based in the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department at Raytheon in Andover, Massachusetts. You will work with teams that design and manufacture compound semiconductor devices, microwave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications. This is a full-time, on-site role for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Perform RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave measurements on GaAs and GaN devices, modules, and MMICs.
- Conduct both fixtured and on-wafer probe measurements.
- Assemble test systems for RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave applications.
- Use software to manage test equipment and plot your results.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or graduate degree in a STEM major, such as Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You must have completed at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
