About the role#
This is a 4-month Business Analyst Intern position within the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer (CLAO) Shared Services Team. You will work with a group that oversees enterprise controls, data governance, legal, compliance, and strategic execution. This role is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business units and IT teams, to document business needs and system requirements.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to clarify project requirements.
- Create process flow diagrams and detailed documentation for operational procedures.
- Maintain documentation for compliance, audits, and knowledge transfer.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Track project milestones, report progress, and coordinate tasks across teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a Canadian post-secondary institution in business administration, project management, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership acumen and a self-driven approach to work.
- Creative and analytical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn new business and system concepts quickly.
- Understanding of project management and operational risk practices.
