About the role#
As a Global Investment Banking Analyst, you will join the Energy, Infrastructure and Transition team based in Calgary. This group provides equity and debt underwriting, corporate finance advisory services, and strategic support to clients in sectors including oil and gas, midstream infrastructure, renewables, and power. You will work on-site to provide financing and advisory solutions to corporate, government, and institutional clients.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research and develop insights on companies, industries, and capital market activities within the energy complex.
- Support active coverage and deal teams in the origination and execution of advisory projects.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory projects.
- Deliver financial and data analysis to support client needs.
- Develop professional relationships across the global capital markets franchise.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Expected completion of your undergraduate program no sooner than August 2027.
- Strong technical and computational skills.
- Demonstrated interest in capital markets.
- A motivated and success-oriented mindset with an interest in a financial services career.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 2027 to April 2027).
- Work Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: The annualized base salary for this role is $105,000.
- Eligibility: You must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within the country for the duration of the term.
