    About the role#

    This is a part-time, paid internship for those interested in banking and client services. You will act as an ambassador for the bank, helping clients with their everyday banking needs and collaborating with partners to help them reach their goals. This role involves a mix of direct client interaction, sales, and problem-solving.

    What you'll do#

    • Engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify their banking needs and offer advice.
    • Help clients with financial transactions and respond to their inquiries.
    • Teach clients how to use digital banking tools to improve their experience.
    • Identify and act on sales and referral opportunities.
    • Take ownership of resolving client banking problems.
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to support business goals.

    What you'll need#

    • A strong focus on putting clients first and a history of success in target-driven sales environments.
    • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong personal ethics and a desire to learn.
    • Digital literacy across various devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
    • Ability to work all business hours.
    • Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Marketing.
    • A track record of building rapport in the financial or service industry is an asset.
    • Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course, is preferred.

    • Location: New Tecumseth, Ontario, Canada.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Schedule: Part-time, 25.5 hours per week.
    • Term: Rolling.
