About the role#
This internship focuses on client-facing sales and problem-solving within a branch environment. You will serve as an ambassador for the bank, helping clients with their everyday banking needs and collaborating with partners to reach financial goals. This is a part-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify banking needs and referral opportunities.
- Provide advice, education, and demonstrations on banking products and services.
- Use technology to improve the client experience and retain business.
- Handle client-initiated contact and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems for clients.
- Maintain relationships with internal partners to support business goals.
What you'll need#

- Success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships.
- Flexibility, a desire to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Digital literacy across devices like smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Ability to work all business hours.
- A track record of building rapport in the financial or service industry is preferred.
- Mutual Funds accreditation is an asset.
